Ronald Wayne Fightmaster

Visitation will be held this Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 12 Noon to 2 PM before Ron's Celebration of Life Service at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085 with Ron's brother, Reverend Jonathan M. Fightmaster, officiating.

Ron was born December 19,1940, in Cynthiana, KY, son of William F. and Bessie B. (Wheary) Fightmaster who preceded his passing in 1975 and 2012 respectively.

He is survived by his life partner, Rita DiMarco, of Columbus, OH; one daughter, Teresa Fightmaster, of Columbus, OH; one son, Ronald Low, of Concord, California; three brothers, David Fightmaster (Mary), of Charleston, SC; Jonathan M. Fightmaster (Debbie), of Hamilton, OH;Tony Fightmaster (Janine), of Bourbonnais, IL; and many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews across the nation.

Ron was a proud graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, OH in 1959. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences from Pasadena College (Point Loma Nazarene University) in 1967. Ron was an avid runner all his life. He competed with the Chicago Track Club and The Ohio State University track teams during his collegiate years. He also pursued graduate work in business and theology.

Although Ron's professional life led him into sales and business ownership, his passion became his faith in Jesus Christ and his love for family. He loved reading and hearing Truth from God's Word, and then talking about "Kingdom Living" in Christ Jesus.
