Rosalia San Nicolas Crisostomo Bochra, 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Born in Agaña, Guam, to the late Ana Santos San Nicolas and Felix Crisostomo, Rose was the beloved youngest of thirteen children and was predeceased by all twelve of her siblings. She graduated from George Washington High School in Guam in 1958 and, in 1963, married the love of her life, Daniel Bochra, with whom she shared many happy years while he served on active duty in the United States Air Force. She was preceded in death by Dan, her devoted husband. Rose is survived by her daughter, Donna (Jose) Rodriguez; her son, Greg Bochra; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She recently moved in with Donna to receive the care and support she needed in her final chapter. Rose attended St. Philip the Apostle Church, where she worshipped faithfully and found comfort in her faith under the spiritual direction and wisdom of Father Bill Arnold throughout her life. Rose worked a number of years as a sales associate for K-Mart before becoming a special needs bus aide for the Groveport Madison School District upon retirement. She lovingly supported children with disabilities on their daily bus rides, ensuring they traveled safely and with dignity. Known for her fun-loving spirit, Rose often joked about her “second job” at the Bingo halls, where she spent many joyful hours. In their early retirement years, she and Dan especially loved traveling to Las Vegas, making memories that family and friends still smile about today. Rose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger East with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A memorial service and celebration of her life are forthcoming. Family and friends will be notified once details are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose's name may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice Fund.
