Rose Marie Dublin

Rose Marie Dublin, age 67, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home after a long illness. She was born May 28, 1948 to the late Michael and Julia (Ziemba) Kanyuch, Sr. in Fairpoint, Ohio. Rose graduated from Seton Central High School, Lafferty, Ohio in 1966. Rose met the love of her life, Daniel James Dublin, III, when they were only 15 years old and married him 5 years later on October 26, 1968. Rose spent the last 25 years of her career as a beautician for a loving friend and employer, Joan Dominic of Suite 59 in Westerville, Ohio. Rose brought to her job the same qualities she had in her personal life, always greeting everyone with a welcoming smile, listening with a warm heart and leaving you feeling better about yourself. She leaves behind many friends in addition to her family. Rose is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Kanyuch, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Daniel James Dublin, III; their children, Daniel (Katonda) Dublin, IV, Michelle (David) LaRoche and Anna (Josh) Childs; siblings, Delores (John) Jones and David (Pamela) Kanyuch; also by sister-in law, Yvonne Kanyuch; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a large extended family. Family will receive friends Monday from 5-8pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a prayer service will be held 7:30pm on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio. Fr. Theodore K. Sill, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
