Rosemary Scott Getty

Rosemary Scott Getty age 93 died December 5th, 2018 at Sunrise of Dublin, where she was a resident. She was born in Superior, Wisconsin, moved to Worthington, Ohio in 1958 with her family. Her husband of sixty-one years died May 25th, 2009 at Sunrise on the Scioto. She is survived by three sons, Scott (Lisa, their sons Michael and David), Paul, and David (Meredith). She was a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church for over sixty years. She graduated as a Registered Nurse (RN) from Saint Luke's School for Nurses in Duluth in 1947. She volunteered at Riverside Hospital in the Emergency Room for several years and was a church staff member at the nursery and preschool before retiring. She and her husband spent their retired years traveling the world. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice or the Alzheimer's Foundation or Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive #170, Columbus, OH 43231. She will be laid to rest in unity with her husband at the Columbarium at the Worthington Presbyterian Church. A private family service will be held later next year.
