

It is with great sadness that the family of Rosemary Clark Vestal announces her passing on November 13, 2025, in Genoa Township, Ohio. Mrs. Vestal, a resident of Genoa Township, was born on August 23, 1930, in Boston, MA to Harry John Clark and Rose Barnett Clark.
Mrs. Vestal, an only child, spent her youth in Needham, MA, where she graduated from Needham High School in 1948. In 1950 she graduated from Vermont Junior College (now Vermont College) with a degree in secretarial studies.
Mrs. Vestal held several secretarial positions. Her first job was as secretary to professors in the business school of Boston University. After passing the civil service examination, Mrs. Vestal moved to Washington, DC to work as a secretary for the Department of the Navy.
While living in Washington, DC, Mrs. Vestal met Paul LeRoy Vestal on a blind date. They married in the First Baptist Church of Needham on May 30, 1953. The Vestals settled in Needham, MA, where they attended the Baptist church, and all three of their children were born, including Martha Vestal Clarke (Timothy Champney) and Alan C. Vestal (Jennifer Grube Vestal). A son, Kenneth P. Vestal (Suzanne Wong), predeceased Mrs. Vestal.
Mrs. Vestal also leaves behind her husband Paul and four grandsons: Timothy A. Clarke, Benjamin D. Clarke, Kevin C. Vestal, and Trevor T. Vestal.
In 1977 the Vestals moved from Needham to Columbus, Ohio in the Northland area. Rosemary and Paul moved to the Westerville, OH area after retirement, where Mrs. Vestal resided until her death. In Ohio Mrs. Vestal worked in the Purchasing Department for Anheuser Busch Brewery as the purchasing assistant to the Procurement Manager.
After retirement in 1993, Mrs. Vestal devoted more time to her hobbies: knitting, playing games on her iPad, travel, and Bible study. Mrs. Vestal was a longtime active member of Karl Road Baptist Church where she regularly attended church services and Sunday school for many years.
In her youth Mrs. Vestal attended church youth groups and played the piano. She hiked and played tennis with her father.

A visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger North, located at 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229, on November 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The funeral service will follow at the same location on November 28, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
A graveside committal will take place at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6330 S Hempstead Rd, Westerville, OH 43081, on November 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
