Roxie Norma Cooper

Roxie Norma Lee (Given) Cooper, age 86, a 56 year resident of Gahanna, Ohio passed away May 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her children. She was born December 16, 1930 in Strange Creek, WV to Adam and Esta Given; also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Cooper; brother Wade Given; sister, Virginia Keene and brother-in-law Foster Keene. She is survived by her children, Deborah Cooper, Kathleen (Greg) Watkins and Robert (Rebecca) Cooper II; beloved grandchildren, Lauren Watkins, Nicholas Cooper, Ben Cooper, Hannah (Ethan) McCormick, Brendan Barasch and Bryce Barasch; sister, Pebble Humphries and sisters-in-law, Hettie Faye Given and Katy Eberle Smith; brothers-in-law, John Cooper and Bill Cooper; several nieces and nephews; longtime dear neighbor Dorothy Nesslerode. Norma retired from Ross Laboratories. She was an avid reader, loved spending time outdoors and working in her garden and looked forward to annual trips to Florida. Family will welcome friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday, June 2, 2017 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will be held at 10am Saturday; interment to follow at Mifflin Twp. Cemetery; Andrew Hoover, celebrant.
