Ruth (Raymond) Berkhoudt

Ruth (Raymond) Berkhoudt, 93, of Columbus, passed away on April 23, 2018. She was born in Lexington, MA to William E. and Alicia (Trask) Rundlett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Raymond, Sr., second husband Clark Berkhoudt, step daughter Andrea See, and step granddaughter Kelly Berkhoudt.

She was a dedicated Salvation Army Officer and Pastor for 42 years, with special compassion in Women's Ministry. Ruth was a faithful, loving wife and mother. She worked tirelessly to raise her six children, all the while fulfilling her ministry responsibilities.

Ruth will be greatly missed by her children Frank (Ruth Ann), Clifford (Marcia), Jonathan (Irene), Norman (Jacqueline), Russell (Karen) Raymond, and Sue (Michael) VanSuch; step children John and Clark Berkhoudt, and Janet Ashcraft; 17 grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Services for Ruth will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Raymond Berkhoudt Memorial Scholarship Fund, Care of the Salvation Army Chapel at Worthington Woods, 760 Worthington Woods Blvd., Worthington, Ohio 43085.
