Ruth Mae Carter, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 19, 1933 to the late John Wesley Martin and Julia Martin Eblin. Ruth retired from Kmart after many years of dedicated service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Carter; and sons, Michael and Kile Quillen. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sharon Wodzisz; step-son, Gary (Connie) Carter, step-daughters, Melody (Scott) Palsgrove and Monica Carter; brother, John (Carol) Martin; sister, Beverly (Harry) Horger; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232 where funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00AM.
