She was born July 30, 1919 in Nuremberg Germany. In Germany, Ruth studied to be a draftsman. She journeyed to the U.S., where she met and married Bert Cornelius in Columbus. She worked with her husband at Simms, Cornelius & Schooley (now known as Schooley Caldwell Associates). Ruth was an avid gardener and an artist.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bertrand Cornelius. Ruth will be missed by her loving children, Barbara (Carl) Crooks, Monika Sparham, Nancy (Ron) Davis, Suzie Cornelius, and Michael Cornelius; and brother, Werner (Renate) Nolte.
Funeral service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270). Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Union Cemetery.
