Ruth Patterson

Ruth Ann Patterson,_79_, of Sunbury OH, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2020. She was born January 2, 1941 in Columbus, OH to Russell C. Miller and Beulah M.(Smith) Miller. Ruth retired from Western Electric after 24 years of service. She graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1959. Ruth was the auxiliary president for 3 years at the Charles R. Mumaw Jr. Memorial Post #4153 as her husband was Commander for 4 years. She enjoyed caring for her many animals and enjoyed spending valuable time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her nephew and niece Scott Miller II and Laney Miller. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Ivan Patterson who passed away August 24th, 2012 after 51 years of marriage. Her brother Jack Edward Miller who passed away August 23rd, 2002, her sister Avonell Young who passed away June 18th, 2017, her nephew Scott Matthew Miller who passed away March 2nd, 2015. She is survived by her oldest brother Russell Eugene Miller of Johnstown, Ohio and her sister Charlene Wilson of Shelton, Washington. She is survived by her 3 sons, Michael Dean (Mandy), Jeffrey Ivan (Cheri Green),

Timothy Daniel (Natalie) Patterson and her grandchildren, Nicole (Shaun), Jason (Mistie), Jacob (Stephanie) Randall (Jessica), Garrett (Sierra) as well as her great grandchildren, Brylen, Jaylen, Reanna, Abby, Charlie, Nova-Lee James and Garrett James Allen, Mallory, and Brandon. She is also survived by her 2 Best friends; Claudene Tucker since 1956 and Judy Dildine since 1970.
