Sandra Kay Thomson, 67, of New Albany Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Grant Medical Center. Sandra was born in Columbus on December 1st, 1952 to the late Donald Cruz and Delores (John) Petyak.
Sandra will be remembered for the love she always showed for her family and friends. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and found happiness in spending quality time with them. She loved the beach, shopping, and found herself at the casino occasionally.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother Steve Petyak.
Sandra is survived by her children, James Hammond and Kimberly Goodman; grandchildren, Tyler, Brinden and Bailey Warren, and Ronnie and Grace; great-grandchildren, Ivy and Dexter Warren; her siblings, Gary and Brenda Cruz and Karen (Daryl) Fisher; niece Kayla Fisher; aunt Madeline Thornton; and many cousins.
