Scott John Lewis

Scott John Lewis, 66, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born November 10, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by his father, F. John Lewis, MD; his wife's parents, Robert C. and Louise S. Martin; and his nephew, Stephen Swan. Scott is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet M. Lewis; sons, Dan (Andi) Lewis and their daughter, Blake, and John (Elise) Lewis and their daughter, Nora; mother, Ruth Lewis; sisters, Mary Lewis and Jean (Craig) Swan; brother-in-law, Robert (Merete) Martin; sister-in-law, Anne (Gilbert) Watkins; several nieces and nephews. Scott pursued and achieved excellence in all his endeavors. Most of all he was devoted and loyal to his beloved wife and family along with many friends. A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 6 with a reception to follow at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 333 S. Drexel Ave., Bexley. Scott's family is very grateful to all the medical professionals who treated Scott with professionalism, competence and deep compassion and kindness.
