

Scott M. Palmer, 61, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 3rd, 2024, to go home with the Lord. Scott was born on June 3rd, 1963 in Racine, Wisconsin. He was raised going to Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Racine, Wisconsin.
He retired from Walgreens after 20+ years of ceaseless dedication. Some of Scott’s favorite pastimes were going to the local rail line with his son Mark and watching lines of trains go by. He also enjoyed playing virtual Solitaire, model railroading, and being dragged to sci-fi conventions by his wife and son. He enjoyed watching the football of the Green Bay Packers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. For Mark, who was also a dwarf, he shared his own experiences of being a dwarf. He was proud that he was listed in medical textbooks as the first patient to have an osteotomy. He also shared stories about his childhood, brothers, and his family-friend Todd Sandleback. He realized his life-long dream of having a dog with Sasha who showed up on their doorstep before his son was born in 2001. She was followed by Judy, Yogie, Zeke, Dukey, Daisy and the 22-year-old iguana named Quinn. He was most happy when surrounded by the dogs, his son and wife. He has become quite close to Daisy in his final year. Scott was a caring husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed by many, especially by his son and wife.
Scott is survived by his loving spouse of 27 years, Tammy. Thomas His son Mark and beloved pets Zeke and Daisy, brother Tom Palmer of Racine Wi. Nieces Kaitlin and Layla, Nephews Jon and Matt, great nieces and nephews and family friends Isabel Diaz and Wolfgang Rumpf.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Jeannette Palmer; brothers Daniel and Kevin, who passed away at birth; brothers Jim and Dennis, Uncle Fred Rentz; nephew Josh Palmer, and sister-in-law Connie Palmer, as well as dogs Sasha, Judy, Yogie, and Duke and Quinn the iguana.
Thank you to the Whitehall Fire Department Paramedics and Whitehall Police Department who assisted in his care after he passed. Thank you to Dr Stephen Shell of Canyon Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio and Dr Michael Grogan of Go Beyond Medicine in Florence, Kentucky for extending his life.

Scott’s Celebration of Life will be on Friday, November 15th, 2024. Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm EST. With services at 6pm.
