Edwina “Scotty” Jenkins passed away peacefully on July 21, 2012 following a brave two year battle with cancer. She was a 1963 graduate of Columbus School for Girls and attended The Ohio State University. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Genevieve Scott, aunts, Madeline Smith and Edith Anderson and her husband of 42 years, Tom Jenkins; Survived by her son, Michael Jenkins (Craig Strong) and daughter, Lori Jenkins; honorary grandchildren, Melanie and Ellison Kase, and their parents, Judy and Steven; other extended family and friends. A service to honor Scotty’s life will be held at 6:30pm Friday, July 27, 2012 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where family will receive friends from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation, c/o OSU James Cancer Hospital, 660 Ackerman Dr., Columbus, OH 43218 or to Columbus School for Girls, 56 S. Columbia Ave., Columbus, OH 43209 in memory of Edwina “Scotty” Jenkins.
