Sergio F. Caballero, age 66, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. Sergio was born November 22, 1958 in Oaxaca, Mexico. He was preceded by in death by his parents, and siblings. He is survived by, daughter, Eva Caballero, son, Ivan Caballero, grandchild, Vaugh Coston II and brother, Eloy Caballero, along with many other dear family and friends.
Sergio was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in his career as a plumber, a trade he practiced faithfully throughout his career. In his free time, he loved working on cars and exploring new cuisines, very often recognized as a “foodie”. One of his greatest joys in life was traveling back to Mexico to spend time with his beloved family. Sergio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family will receive friends Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. LIVINGSTON AVE, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Please share a memory or send condolences to Sergio’s family.
