Sharon D. Coey

Sharon D. Coey, age 72, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012. She was born in Columbus on August 29, 1939 to the late Charles and Edythe Allen. Sharon was a bus driver for the Gahanna Jefferson Public School System for 33 years. She was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna. Sharon was a kind and loving person who cared deeply about her family and friends. Her sense of humor was greatly appreciated by all. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Nolan; children, Randall Coey, Rodger (Susan) Coey, Sharon “Baby” (Steve) Sunseri, and Joshua E. Coey; grandchildren, Brandy, Candace, Paige, Dustin, Craig (Jaclyn), Evan, Meighan, and Samuel (Liz); numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; father, Emerson “Mac” McKinley; and sister, Susan Brooks. Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD) Gahanna. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 16, 2012 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd, Gahanna, OH. Pastor Dwight Hedrick officiating. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.
