Sharon Peters

Sharon L. “Cottrill” Peters, age 70, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on March 24, 2017. She was born in Chilicothe, Ohio to Oren and Esther Cottrill on February 17, 1947. Sharon was an avid reader and loved to write, and she especially enjoyed her spiritual readings. She was the Secretary for Cornerstone Christian Church for over 20 years. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents. Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Robert Peters, with whom she shared 52 years of wonderful marriage; her three sons Christopher (Alma) Peters of Circleville, Matthew (Terra) Peters of Ashville, and William (Kimberly) Peters of Circleville; seven grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and an abundance of friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Sharon. Sharon loved her family, and she loved being an ambassador for Christ. Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger, located at 151 East Main Street Circleville, on Tuesday March 28 from 5 to 8pm. A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 29 at 11am with Pastor William Pellum officiating. Burial will follow at forest cemetery.
