Sherry Lynn Daugherty

She is survived by her loving husband of five years John Daugherty; dad Joel Mitchell; step-sons Joshua and Jacob Daugherty; brother Steve Mitchell, and her nephew and niece, Riley and Wren Mitchell.

She joins her mother, Janice Mitchell.

Sherry was employed with FISERV as part of their IT Department. An amateur photographer, she would chronicle times together by taking, and saving, thousands of photos. Sometimes taking 50 of one subject until she got it just right. A gamer, Sherry built, and kept, many friendships around the world.

It was her positive attitude, and fighting spirit, that gave her the opportunity to support others with cancer, while she was fighting her own battle. Sherry will be remembered for her love for others, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral Service honoring Sherry’s life will be held at 4pm, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where friends and family will gather from 2pm to the time of service.
