Shirley C. Allen, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. She was born in Delorme, West Virginia on October 22, 1943 to the late Grover and Leona (Robinett) Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Birchie, Tarzan, and Charles Collins; sisters, Hannah Slone and Loney New; and step-daughter, Monica Allen. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James Allen; daughters, Lana Wiles, Erica (Tony) Bell, Jessica Allen, Ashley Collins, and Kristina and Mandy Reyna; step-sons, Tony, Nick, and Mark Allen; sisters, Cora Autry and Virginia Terry; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may gather on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service will be held in Crystal River, Florida and she will be laid to rest at Crystal River Memorial Park.
