Shirley Ann Lombardo

Shirley A. Lombardo, age 80, passed away June 3, 2016 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John Lombardo. Shirley is survived by her children; John Lombardo, Edward (Timmie) Lombardo, Jaymme (Casey Crebassa) Lombardo, Gina (Peter) Minotti, grandsons; John, Christopher, Matthew Minotti, sister-in-law; Viola Lombardo, nephews Michael (Cathy) Lombardo, Thomas (Sally) Lombardo, Joe David (Jackie) Lombardo, George (Anita) Lombardo, Charles Lombardo, Robert (Linda) Lombardo, and many friends. Shirley worked as a server in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and retired from Little Turtle Country Club. She was fascinated by and embraced technology. Kitchen gadgets that made work in the kitchen easier and faster intrigued her also. Shirley’s sense of humor was represented by her large collection of clowns. She played Scrabble for years and developed a real talent for it. Shirley liked people and was a good listener. She always appreciated the kindness of her neighbors and she valued her long term friendships greatly. Shirley will be missed for her beautiful smile, kind voice, and quick wit. Visitation for Shirley will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 4-7pm at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1pm on Thursday June 9, 2016 at Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 S. High St. Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Shirley.
