Stephen Joseph Bevan, age 78, of Columbus passed away on January 11, 2022 in the afternoon. He was a graduate of South High School and attended Columbus State. He served in the US Navy and was stationed at Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis and also served on the USS Intrepid. Stephen worked at Sanese Services and the Polaris Kroger. He loved to go to the Cleveland Indians and Browns games in Cleveland and liked to have fun! He enjoyed travel especially trips to Myrtle Beach. He loved history, roller coasters, and animals, especially cats. Stephen is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 28 years, Patty; sister, Robin (Dick) Rabold; sisters-in-law, Marsha (Steven) Spencer and Karen (Pete) Dixon; nieces and nephew, Sheila and Danny Ball, Shelly Mills, Lisa Coleman, and Theresa Jones; other relatives and friends.
