Stephen Carl Frates, age 44, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. Stephen was born August 3, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri, where he grew up. When he was 18, Stephen moved to Huntsville, Alabama where he lived for the rest of his life. Stephen is preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph A. and Johanna I. Frates, Shirley R. Forsythe and Curtis Rex Kenslow. Stephen will be deeply missed by his loving children Joseph Aden Frates and Ella Rhys Frates; father Stephen I. (Tamara Burd) Frates; mother Karen K. Frates; siblings Kerri (Brent) Frates Martin, Douglas I. Frates and Taylor (Phil) Burd; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
