Stephen G. Williamson

The Rev. Stephen G. Williamson III, age 73, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was born in Williamsport, PA, to the late Stephen G. Williamson, Jr., and Eleanor Leech Williamson. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert L. Williamson. He is survived by his wife, Anita J. Williamson; children, Gregory (Sarah) of Chillicothe, OH, Nathan (Harriet Dugan) of Silver Spring, MD, Douglas (Lisa Millman) of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Amy (David) Grimes of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Ann (Phillip) Parrish of Charlottesville, VA; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Jacob of Chillicothe, Olivia and Claudia of Reynoldsburg, and Tiernan of Silver Spring. He held parochial and administrative positions in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Upstate New York. He served as East Region Executive and Archdeacon of the Diocese of Southern Ohio and was former Vicar of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Pickerington. He retired as Rector at St. Philip’s in Circleville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 8630 Refugee Road, Pickerington.
