Stephen A. "Steve" Coon, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born March 20, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edward and Thelma Coon. He was a 1972 graduate of Franklin Heights H.S. and was currently employed at Nationwide Arena where he worked since 2001. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Miesse; brothers, Johnny Coon and Thomas Coon; and nephew, Marc Coon. Steve is survived by his sister, Elaine Coon; sister-in-law, Vickie Coon; stepdaughters, Susan Garcia; Nancee (Nageeb) Edwards, and Mary (Jay) Thompson; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio. GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AND ONLY 25 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING AT A TIME TO ENSURE SAFETY FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE.
