Steven Armstrong

Steven E. Armstrong, age 66 of Estero, Florida, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. Steve was born on September 28, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eula Armstrong, and his sister, Susan Armstrong.

Steve graduated from Whetstone High School in 1966 before attending Ohio State University. He made Columbus home for many years before moving to Florida. Steve lived life to the fullest, and particularly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, working in his bonsai garden, and rooting on the Buckeyes. He was a loving father, and had a spirit and charisma that made him easy friends with many.

Steve will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jill Armstrong; his sons, Jesse (Emily) Armstrong and Kyle (Emily) Armstrong, from a prior marriage to Catherine Armstrong; his step-son, Trade Chapman; his grandchildren, Tucker and Avery Armstrong; family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 17. 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service.
