Stuart H. Sinclair

Stuart H. Sinclair Jr., age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 10, 1933. Stu served in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stuart H. Sinclair Sr. and Mary Louise VanAuken Sinclair; and his brother, David Bruce Sinclair. Stu’s greatest legacy is his children and grandchildren. Stu and his first wife, Suzanne Embrey, had two sons: Stuart Bruce and Bret Embrey. Stuart Bruce and his wife Gayle have four children: Rebekah Elizabeth, Rachel Mary, Joshua Daniel and David Elijah. Stu and his second wife, Carolina Sue Ditty, had one daughter, Heather. She and her husband, Eric Shaw, have three children: Henry Simon, Elsa Maren, and Ruby Sue. Stu was a man who loved God and looked forward to spending eternity in His presence. He often shared his favorite Bible verse, 1 John 3:2: "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." All of us who loved Stu and shared his faith know that we “shall see him in the morning”. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior at Grace Polaris Church, The DeArmey Center, Room 200, 8225 Worthington Galena Rd., Westerville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Stu with a donation to Grace Polaris Church Pastoral Care, where he was a long-time member.
