Sylvia T. Sitter

Sylvia T. Sitter, age 84 of Westerville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Sylvia was born and raised in Detroit and moved to the Columbus area in 1994, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Boskey. Also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ross, and brother, Ronnie Boskey. Sylvia devoted her life entirely to her family. She loved life and believed in living each day as if it was your last. She was warm, generous and known as "grandma" by many and always managed to always see the best in everyone. She greatly enjoyed speed walking and reading and also was an animal lover. She will be greatly missed by her children, Glenn Sitter, Robin Warrens, and Kimberly Sitter; grandchildren, Tara Nicole and Alexa Danielle Warrens; brothers, Walter and Roger Boskey; former husband, Ronald Sitter; loving pet, Muffin; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family would like to invite friends to attend a memorial service celebrating Sylvia's life at 5 P.M. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where guests will also be welcome to join family for a reception immediately following service.
