Teresa L. Adkins

Teresa Lynn Adkins, 59, beloved daughter, wife, mom, maw maw and sister, passed away peacefully January 19, 2017 at home. She was born March 17, 1957 in Columbus and was a graduate of Brookhaven High School. Teresa worked in customer service at Chase Bank. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Vernon K. Adkins; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Dr. Corey Griffith and their children Taylor and Elijah; son and daughter in law, Andrew "Bud" and Tommi Adkins and their children, Carsyn and Cross; mother, Kaylinn "Katie" Thompson; brother, John (Bethany) Thompson; mother and father-in-law, JoAnn and Asbury Adkins; brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Gerald Adkins; sister-in-law, Lisa Cahill; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Thompson; sister, Donna Olmstead and brothers, Michael and Steven Thompson. Family will welcome friends 2-5pm Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E.
