Terrance Tyree Glenn

Terrance Tyree "Terry" Glenn, Jr., 23, of Dublin, Ohio passed away November 28, 2019. He was born May 4, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio to Kimberly Nicole (Combs) Matthews and Terrance Glenn, Sr.In addition to his loving father, he was preceded in death by his adoring grandmothers, René E. Combs and Donnetta Glenn.

The bright light Terry shined will be sorely missed. His fervor for football was matched by his captivation with hip-hop culture.

Terry graduated Dublin Coffman High School where he played as a Shamrock wide receiver; he attended West Virginia University where he started developing his instincts for business.

As an aspiring entrepreneur and vlogger, Terry was beginning to build an online personal brand with energy and enthusiasm. His winning smile and infectious personality gave him the ability to talk with people from any walk of life and he never met a stranger. He was an active Twitter user, posting more than 13,000 tweets that shared his perspective on happenings and humor.

We, his family, honor his memory: mother, Kimberly Nicole (Combs) Matthews; step-father, Louis Matthews; brothers, Gabriel Matthews and Christian, Tatum and Greyson Glenn; sisters, Natalie, Samantha and Vanessa Glenn; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Derek Combs, Sr.; great-grandmother, Wanda Combs; aunt, Dorothy (Danny) Adams; uncle, Derek Combs; great-aunt, Sharon Combs-Wright; great-uncle, Greg (Sherry) Combs; godmother, Madina (Chris) Castleman and a host of caring extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
