Theodore Curry

Theodore Curry, age 81 departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2010. He was born on June 22, 1929, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. After a distinguished 30 year career in the US Air Force, Theodore worked for the US Postal service, retiring from there in 1988. In 1955 he married the love of his life, Helen Brown, whom preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his son Marc S. Curry. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Michael S. Curry. Special friends Annie Hooks, Johnny Williams of Orangeburg, SC, and Uncle Clayton. Two sister-in-laws, Ella Mae Curry and Zenobia Curry, both of Orangeburg, SC. Nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Pearson of Detroit, MI, Erma Jean Curry of New York, Loretta Gilbert of Detroit, MI Schearldine Abraham of Texas, Henderson Curry of St. Louis, Wayne Curry of Orangeburg, SC, Helen “Sue” Pickrum of Cincinnati, OH, and Toya L. Brown of North Carolina. Special cousin Janie Renwick of Warrensville, OH. and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010 at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State St., Columbus, OH. Family will also receive friends at 10:30 -11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Saint Phillip Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1506 E. Long St., Columbus, OH., with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Anthony J. Chatman officiating. Entombment at Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Midtown Chapel
