Theresa S. (DelCastillo) McKinley

Theresa was born on May 3, 1962 in Niederwiler, West Germany. After several relocations, she found her way to Columbus, Ohio. Theresa was a kind, no-nonsense person who loved from her heart and showed her gentle, caring soul to family, loved ones and others in need.

Some of Theresa's favorite past times were spent with her spouse, Bill, enjoying various board games, different card games and taking time to watch their favorite teams which include the Bengals and both The Ohio State Buckeyes Football and Basketball teams. Theresa also loved being with family, especially her grandchildren, working outdoors, utilizing carpentry, mechanical and other skills learned throughout her life or working alongside Bill. She had multiple skills and wasn't afraid to try anything. She made her way in this world by hope, creativity, ingenuity and a quiet confidence in her Faith.

Theresa is survived by her spouse, William (Bill) Edward Mckinley who she wed August 14,2004, her daughter Rachel DelCastillo, her son Steven Hunter, siblings Debi (George) Korakas, Bobby (Beth) DelCastillo, Violet (Carl) Forwerck, Anna Maria (Rick) Jones, Palmida (Michelle) DelCastillo, along with numerous grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Also, left to cherish all of their special memories are Bill's daughters Jane (Rodney) Spaulding, Zara (Andrew) Morgan, son Troy Mckinley and all of Bill's siblings/spouses, their families and friends. Theresa will be greatly missed by those lives she touched but never forgotten.

A celebration of life for Theresa will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger - Linden, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43224.
