Tom lived a life of abundance with boundless love for his wife, Vicki, and his family. Tom was devoted husband and best friend for over 50 years. He was fiercely proud parent of three amazing sons and their wonderful wives/partners, Brian and Kim (Chillicothe, OH), Ben and Amy (Vancouver WA) and Mike and Kristina (Blacklick OH). He was fun-loving "Pops" cherishing his three grandchildren who each sparked joy, Quinn and Lily, and Maebel. He was a brother (Jerry and Susan Kelly), son (Thomas B. 1974 and Bette Kelly 2008), son-in-law (Victor 2014 and Patricia Fowler), brother-in-law, uncle, friend, role model, manager and leader (Konica Minolta), and coach. Tom touched many throughout his life in ways immeasurable.
Tom enjoyed jazz, woodturning, backpacking, hiking, coaching soccer (21 yrs.), photography, and finding new simple adventures. An Irishman who valued family, he was determined to make the small things in life matter. He modeled the true spirit of fatherhood. He was gentle, kind and caring; he was full of determination, strength, generosity and humor. Pops was truly "goodness".
Tom tried to do more than just live, he tried to live his life fully. He will be so dearly missed but he will live on through the many in his life.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the summer.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Childhood League Center in his memory or to the charities who care for those during this pandemic crisis.
