Thomas Roger Noel

Thomas Roger Noel, 71, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 9, 1942 to the late James and Martha (McManaway) Noel. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who also served as a member of the Ohio National Guard from 1984-1986. Tom worked for Columbus Bank Note and later retired from the City of Columbus Division of Watershed Management. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, camping, and hunting. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Noel; son, Thomas (Gerri) Noel, Jr.; daughters, Traci (James) Daniels, Jennifer Noel, and Kimberly Noel; grandchildren, Alan, Amber, Michele, Brooke, Jordan, Lofton, Makenna, Braylon, Jay, and Eisley; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Sophia, and Kira; sisters-in-law, Christine Estepp, Goldie (Darrell) Maynard, and Patty Gibson; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus where funeral service will be held 10am Thursday with Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
