Thomas C. Stein

Thomas C. Stein passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, one day after his 39th birthday after sustaining injuries from a car accident. Tom was born in Pottstown, PA; he was the son of Thomas E. and Darlene A. Stein, who survive. Tom was also survived by brother, Todd (Amy) Stein; nephew, Cooper; grandfather, Albert Smith; and aunt, Shawn (Robert) Carre. He was a 1991 graduate of Mayfield High School in Kentucky, where he was active in the band. Tom received his B.S. from DeVry University in Electrical Engineering and was employed at AEP as an Information System Analyst since 1996. Tom was a member of several automobile and motorcycle clubs including, NASA (National Auto Sports Association), Porsche Club of America, and the American Motorcycle Association. Tom was an avid Porsche car racer. He also enjoyed golf and all athletics. He was an unselfish person and was always helping a friend in need. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from1-3pm with a memorial service at 3pm at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 East State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
