Timothy D. Cousins, 61, of Delaware, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2019. He was born on March 7, 1958 in Canton. He was preceded in death by his parents Roger Cousins and Betty Lou (Robinson) Cousins.
He received an undergraduate degree from Capital University, and an MBA from Villanova University. He worked in marketing and sales for most of his career, most recently as a field representative for Samsung.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he was an avid supporter and follower of his children's passions. He loved sports of all kinds, gardening, a hearty meal, and full glass of bourbon. His hugs were legendary, and his outside Christmas displays were known to stop traffic.
Tim was well-known for his fairness, loyalty, selflessness, and sense of humor. He never cared to be the center of attention, but he was always willing to help others get where they wanted to go. He dedicated his life to kindness, and always offered a willing ear to whoever needed it.
Tim will be deeply missed by his wife of 37 years, Linda R. (Perone) Cousins; children Courtney, Christopher, and Chelsea; his brother Roger (Jane) Cousins of North Canton and his sister Cheryl Kauth of Louisville; his brothers-in-law Jim Perone of Columbus and Mike (Patty) Perone of Gahanna; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A service celebrating Tim's life will be held at 3pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim's memory may be made to the Ohio Northern Women's Lacrosse program, and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure by going to http://www.info-komen.org
