

Timothy Parker Shea, age 55 of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. Tim was born in Columbus and grew up in Gahanna; he was the son of Ruth Shea and the late Edward Shea. Tim was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, Class of 1974, and following he proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam Era Veteran. Tim was currently working for Hitachi Data Systems as a Solutions Support Specialist for the Americas. He was an active member of Church of the Resurrection and played the bass in their Contemporary Folk Group. Tim was also an avid reader; he enjoyed building model airplanes and had a passion for cars. He enjoyed watching drag racing and working on cars, especially his 1972 Chevelle, but most of all, Tim loved spending time with his family just hanging out. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 31 years, Donna Shea; daughters, Meghan and Lauren Shea; mother, Ruth Shea; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Kathleen Durham; siblings, Linda (Brian) Geiseler, Mike (Pam) Shea, Christy (Bruce) Wallace, and Terry (Tina) Shea; along with many other extended family members and dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Father Jerome P. Rodenfels, Celebrant. Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where a De Colores Service will begin at 7:30 P.M. and the rendering of military honors will follow. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
