

Tom K. Hamilton, age 88, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. Tom was born on January 7, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to T. Kline and Vivian Hamilton. Tom graduated from Ohio State University with degrees in electrical engineering and education. He was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity, a drum major for the OSU Military Marching Band, and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Signal Corp. Employment included teaching at Worthington High School, design engineer at Bell Sound Labs and Industrial Nucleonics, vice president of Diamond Milk Company, and software programmer for his own consulting company. Tom enjoyed many hobbies including ventriloquism, magic, building model train layouts and circuses, playing the organ at the Ohio Theater, and was co-chairman of the "Save the Ohio Theater Committee." He and his wife Ann enjoyed traveling the world. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Ann of 66 years and his brother, David. He will be greatly missed by his children, David Hamilton, Carol Lepsik (Steve), Jane Fenton (Rich), Cindy Rohal (Jim); 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 5-8 PM on Monday August 15, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday August 16, also at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, Gary Brand officiating. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
