Tracy W Sheffield

Tracy Williams Sheffield, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Tracy was in her home with her husband, Doug Sheffield, by her side. Tracy grew up in Mansfield, OH then attended The Ohio State University for undergrad where she also earned a Master's in Finance. She started her tax accounting career at Deloitte and then worked for the accounting firm Greene and Wallace as well as SSandG Financial Services before retiring. Tracy had a wonderful zest for life along with unparalleled resolve, strength and determination. She will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends. Tracy loved the outdoors; she enjoyed golfing, bike rides, going for walks, and any time spent in the fresh air. She found pleasure in traveling with Doug, girls' trips, exercise, and spending time with family. The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, daily jokes, dinners, kind words and countless other gestures of support over these past two years. We would also like to thank the James Cancer Hospital, especially Dr. Sumithira Vasu. Tracy is survived by her husband, Doug; her children, Kristen (Anne) and Megan (Dan); her siblings, Paul Williams, Meg (Randy) Hall, Jeff (Dawn) Williams, and Amy (Marco) Burczyk; numerous nieces and nephews, and her mother-in-law Jeannette Sheffield. Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lucille Williams as well as her brother Bradford Williams. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25th at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, OH 43221. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 26th at St. Thomas More Newman Center, 64 W. Lane Ave., Columbus, OH 43201.
