

Trisa was born in Columbus on March 8, 1981 and grew up in Grandview Heights. She attended the Columbus College of Art and Design for Interior Decorating, and later found her passion expressing her enormous ability to love and care for others by becoming a Registered Nurse through the Mount Carmel Nursing program.
A talented artist, Trisa was a master at knitting, loved to travel and had a flair for being spontaneous. She is survived by her beloved daughter Kyla Sauber and was preceded in death by her son Colin Fraley and husband Ben Sauber, who are greatly missed. She was raised by her mother Rhonda (Houston) Madden of Virginia, father Bruce Madden and step-mother Christy Havranek-Madden of Columbus, with the additional support of her godmother Kate Welker. Trisa was a doting big sister to Cassandra Madden, Matt Havranek and Aaron Madden, all of whom loved her very much. She had a close relationship with her cousins Crystal Mills Sampson and Jason Houston, and was cherished by her maternal family in Virginia, including her grandmother Velma Houston.
Trisa was very loved and will be missed by friends, family and her recovery community. An indoor/outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 18 at Amelita Mirolo Barn (4395 Carriage Hill Lane, Upper Arlington, OH 43220). Gathering begins at 2:00, remarks at 3:00, visiting till 4:00. CDC guidelines and masks required.
