Tynan Maurice Douglas

Tynan Maurice Douglas of San Francisco, CA and formerly of Pickerington passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 27, 2021. Tynan was born on November 16, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio to Maurice and Laura (Burkhart) Douglas, III. He graduated with honors from Pickerington Central High School in 2013, where not only did Tynan excel academically, but he also enjoyed the drama club, track team and football team. After his high school graduation, Tynan studied at the University of Chicago on full scholarship, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with honors. Tynan was a software engineer with Google in the YouTube Division. He loved to travel, enjoyed playing the guitar, and swing dancing. Tynan continued to challenge himself by learning Mandarin Chinese and taking a physics class for fun. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Maurice Douglas, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Maurice and Laura (Burkhart) Douglas, III.; brother, Kieren Douglas; sisters, Shae Douglas and Brea Douglas; paternal grandparents, Jackie Bryant and Doris Douglas-Bryant; maternal grandparents, Frank and Patricia Burkhart; girlfriend, Jeewoo "Jenny" Kang; many loving members of the Douglas, Roane, Burkhart, and Toers Bijns families as well as many dear friends.
