Vella Marie Wright

Vella Marie Wright, age 75, of Reynoldsburg passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Vella was born on November 21, 1934 in Martha, KY; she was the daughter of the late Noah and Viola Sparks. Vella is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James B. Wright; and sister, Hermal Wheeler. She attended Morehead State College and was enrolled in their teaching program. Vella was a member of Elizabeth Enterprise Baptist Church in Martha, KY. She enjoyed Kentucky Basketball, garage sales and traveling. Vella will be remembered for her faith and the love she had for her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother to her daughter Vicki; who survives. She is also survived by her sisters, Evalene Sparks of Dayton, OH and Maxine Brickey of Ashland, KY; brother, Pearlman Sparks of Mazie, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 4-8pm at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10am, Pastor Emmett Barker officiating.
