Veronica D. Baird

Our dear mom, Veronica DePrisco Baird “Babby”, born October 9th 1941, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March, 23rd, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juliette and Adolph DePrisco, and survived by her daughter, Lisa (Phil), son, Jamie (Brenda), Wasband, Nick Baird, brother, Michael (Deborah) and her most cherished loves: grandchildren Hannah, Caroline, Nicholson and Emerson.

Babby dedicated her life to helping others, spreading joy, and cheering on her friends and family. She was a well-loved member of the community and will be missed by so many. Her feisty and fun spirit will live on in each and every person who had the opportunity to know her.

Remembered for her hilarious stories, homemade pasta sauce, love of shoe shopping in Chicago, cravings for McDonald’s Big Macs, and her willingness to say whatever was on her mind, not a day will go by that our sweet mama won’t cross our minds.

Family will receive friends from 2:30 to 5:30pm Sunday March 26th, 2023, at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am Monday, March 27th, 2023, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road.
