Virginia Grace “Sissy” Seymour Adams, 71, of Circleville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born November 2, 1938 in Circleville, the daughter of the late William Edward and Dorothy (Moore) Seymour. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Geraldine. Sissy enjoyed bingo, flowers and going out to eat.

She loved people especially little children. She faithfully attended the church services at Logan Elm and was known to donate to numerous charities out of the little she had. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her sons, Fred Seymour and Charles Adams; sisters, Jane Lowery and Beverly “Bubbles” Seymour; brothers, Merle “Sonny Buck” (Pauline) Jones, Walter (Sandra) Seymour and Stanley (Linda) Seymour; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Logan Elm Health Care and Berger Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Sissy and would also like to thank Kathy for sharing her gift of music with her. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Rev. William S. Haddox officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
