Virginia "Ginny" R. Crawford

Virginia “Ginny” Crawford, age 88, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. She was born to the late Raymond and Lina (Johnston) Miracle on March 28, 1926 in Caldwell, Ohio, the youngest of 8. Ginny obtained her Associates in Arts from Spring Arbor Junior College where she was resident advisor and bookkeeper. She was a former president of PTA at Duxberry Elementary and served as past president of Central Ohio Health Food Association in the 1960s. She was also a former member of The Free Methodist Church where she and her husband, Charles were youth pastors of the youth group. More recently, Ginny was a member of Bethel World Prayer Center. She was very interested in Natural Foods and loved living a healthy holistic lifestyle, Ginny was ahead of her time. She loved gardening and Gospel music. Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Charles M. Crawford, Sr.; son, Charles “Chuck” Crawford Jr.; daughter-in-law, Dana Crawford; grandchildren, Brandon (Magdelena) Crawford, Cole (Teresa) Crawford, Kendall (Seth) Crawford; great-grandson, Connor Crawford; sisters-in-law, Charlene Miracle and Minnie Crawford; best friend and niece, Carol (Robert) White; many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Miracle, Roy Miracle and Virgil Miracle; sisters, Luella Morris, Luetta Hughes, Verna Foraker and Mildred Cisler. Also preceded by brother-in-law, Vernon Crawford; and sisters-in-law, Ardith Sult, and Esther (Richard) Congdon. A Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2014 with family receiving friends at 1:30 at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5600 East Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213, where burial will occur afterwards. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel World Prayer Center, 11906 Worthington Rd, Pataskala, OH 43062.
