

Ginger was employed by F&R Lazarus Northland Store in the Cosmetics Department for many years. She sold Estee Lauder cosmetics, and was the top sales person in the tri-state region. She was a member of the Chuck Wheelers Square Dance Club, the Party Line Contra Dance Club, the Silhouette Round Dance Club, and Marianne Senecal’s Carousel Group. Ginger worked for over 40 years as an election official at the polls. She volunteered as a pioneer partner for the Telecom Pioneers, and with the Girl Scouts.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Fred, and by her children: Barry (Carol) Smith of Winnsboro, SC, Diane (Richard) Deeter of Bristow, VA, Craig (Tomoko) Smith of Dublin, OH, Pamela (George) Daft, of Baltimore, OH, and Amy (Richard) Blume of Worthington, OH; grandchildren: Monica (David) Shepard, Eric Smith, Cheryl (Brian) Merritt, Lisa Deeter (Tara Kafer), Miyoung Smith, John (Erica) Daft, Joseph (Kelli) Daft, Christopher Blume, and Jeffrey (Margaret) Blume; and great-grandchildren: Hunter Shepard, Logan Shepard, Tyler Merritt, Chase Merritt, Henry Daft, and William Daft.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 4:00 pm at the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Interment will be a private family service at Forest Lawn Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS BY THE SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL (614) 939-4558.
