Virginia "Ginny" Dare Hensley

Virginia “Ginny” Dare Hensley, age 87, longtime resident of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on June 20, 1924 to the late John and Mary Ratliff. She retired from Convenient Dry Cleaners and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hensley; sister, Jacqueline Burns; and grandparents, William Sherman and Julia Myrtle Pickens. She is survived by her children, Mike (Cindy) Hensley, Jackie (Tom) Carroll, Brenda (Greg) Buchwalter, Connie Ross, Fred Hensley, and Mark (Sarah) Hensley; grandchildren, Kristine (Mike) Ewing, Bryan (Brooke) Carroll, Brett Carroll, Kacey (Beth) Ross, Erica (Eric) Mitz, Betsy (Derrick) Long, Benjamin (Daisy) Buchwalter, Guy Hensley, Emily Hensley, Kaylee Hensley, Madison Hensley, Gracie Hensley, Taylor Hensley and Alisha Hensley; great grandchildren, Ansley, Conner, Brady, Delaney, Madison Paige, MaKenna, Mary Katherine, Paige, Hensley “Clark”, AnnaLynn, and Margaret “Maggie”; and many other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD) Gahanna where funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00PM with visitation one hour prior. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Mifflin Township Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio.
