

A funeral service for Virginia M. Moran King, 85 of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor William J. Rauch officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Fork Cemetery.
Virginia was born in Grafton, West Virginia on February 26, 1925 to the late Clark and Blanche (Myers) Ramsey. She passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center while surrounded by her family.
Virginia was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Newark. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, babysitting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Owen King in Newark; two daughters, Mary Jane (Kyle) Wilson of Newark and Billie Jean Priest of Newark; two sons, Robert A. Moran of Newark and Jerry E. (Teresa) Moran of Louisiana; brother, Robert (Marian) Ramsey of Utica; sister, Celia Mae Robinson of Utica, "special sister" Mildred "Midge" Reber of Poulsbo, WA; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Trisha) Wilson, Randy (Annette) Wilson, Irwin “Lee” Jr. (Kim) Priest, Matthew Priest, Stephen Priest and Robert James Moran; seven great grandchildren, Bradley McDaniel, Kathleen McDaniel, Morgan Wilson, Conner Wilson, Lucas Wilson, Kelsey Henson Priest, and Tiffany Priest; four step children; 69 step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Moran in 1999; five brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren, William Earl Priest and Joshua David Priest; and two step-children.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Virginia to Hospice of Central Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
