Walter W. Harris

Walter W. Harris, age 83, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. Walter was the owner of Aladdin Press for over 30 years. He was a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. Walter loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his forgiving spirit and sense of humor. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Edith Skinner; mother, Mary Harris and brother, Kenneth Harris. Survived by his loving wife, Patricia of 66 years on August 4 th; daughter, Mary Harris (Chris Lamb); son, Bill Harris (Stacey Jones); grandchildren, Brandy (David), Joshua (Rachel) and Dylan; great grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Zachary, Michael, Xander, Kruz and Vale; sister, Nancy (Jim) McCullouch; in-laws, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 with Pastor Karen Muntzing officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
