Walter "Pete" Edward Lyons Jr.

Pete was born February 1, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Patricia (Schumacher) and the late Walter Lyons, Sr.

Pete was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He worked at Powell Structural Systems, now Builders First Source for over 30 years. Pete loved his Buckeyes and was even a Red Coat for The Ohio State football team at the Horseshoe. He also had a passion for golf and ran a traveling league on Sundays. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling with his family. Pete and his wife would also enjoy cruises, such as Cayman Islands and St. Thomas.

In his spare time when not bowling or golfing Pete just enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed tailgating every Saturday for Buckeye home games where he met some of his closest friends.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his Uncles Chuck Kidwell, Erwin (Sonny) Schumacher, Frank (Buddy) Schumacher, and Niece Megan Linn

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Lyons; his children, Jeffrey Lyons, Adam (Danielle) Lyons, and Heather Lyons; his grandchildren, Addison and Makenzie; his brother and sisters, Monica Lyons, Pam (Brian) Steele, Rich (Mindy) Lyons; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends Tuesday, January 3, 2022 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus where Memorial service will follow at 6:00pm.
