

Wanda V. Fillinger, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away May 24, 2016 on her 94th birthday. Wanda was born in Findlay, Ohio to the late Harry and Erma (Copley) Thompson; also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George O. Fillinger. Wanda was an avid bowler and a founding member of the Women's Professional Bowling Association. She retired from Banc Ohio in Pickerington. Wanda and George loved to dance together. She is survived by four children, George O. (Connie) Fillinger, Jack W. Fillinger, Sheri (Michael) Blume and Pamela (Ronald) Cohen; daughter-in-law Sue Taylor; grandchildren, Eric (Deborah) Fillinger, Bryan Fillinger, Stacie (Fred) Champa, Yvonne Fillinger (Tina Durham), Joshua Cohen (Michael Gochenour), Melissa (James) Johnson and Kim (Ron) Larson; great-grandchildren, Jessica Champa, Josiah Durham, Evan Cohen and Hayden Johnson; sister, Martha McCormick. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am Friday, May 27, 2016 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 with Chaplain Michael Reynolds officiating.
